Rotating a Shape with text in Word

Hey Dave..... Good Idea this forum.

Im trying to get a shape with text inside it to rotate so I can have the text and rectangle shape at an angle. Every time I move the rectangle the text won't move with it. How do I get the shape and the text to move together?

I think you'll have to do a workaround, converting your shape and text to an image file.

Create your shape and text, exactly how you would like them. Select the text and shape go to Edit -> Cut.

Go to Edit -> Paste Special. Choose Picture (windows Metafile) and then click OK.

You can now rotate this image to the required angle. Not the most perfect of answers, but it works!
